The journey of human discovery is a enticing view of how visual art can be used to not only interpret every lives but also help influence human thought process. Fortune Dlamini has embarked on a journey with which he hopes to elevate the current standpoint of human perception through is work as he opens the human concise. This is portrayed through his works from the title of the show to the labels of work, this young yet very wise 25 year old has done works that have help open the current view point of people who have taken the time to visit the, and enjoy the different exhibition show that he has hosted taken part in and works that he has put out into the public because something needed to be said.

 

 Artist Profile

 

Fortune Dlamini is a Johannesburg born and based artist who matriculated at Jules High School in year 2010 then enrolled with Artist proof studio (APS) in 2012 to study visual printmaking for 3yrs after a year of attending art classes in Johannesburg Art Gallery (JAG).  He has done quite a lot, the projects he has partaken with the images of most of his work are to follow.

 *Conceptual development project with a Belgian writer Frieda Groffy in 2013.

 *Papermaking project with Phumani papers in 2014.

 *Cross cultural print exchange with students from Artist proof studio, University of   Johannesburg and SMFA Boston U.S in 2014. *A couple of group exhibition with in Gauteng and a solo exhibition in Nov 2014
